Colorimetric substrate for dehydrogenases and other oxidases. NBT is used with X-Phos for colorimetric detection of alkaline phosphatase activity in blotting, immunohistochemical and cytochemistry techniques. 1% soluble in hot methanol. Protect from light. Store at 2-8°C.
