When entering your billing information we by default use a secure server. When a browser communicates with a secure server all data is encrypted, keeping it private. This technology makes it safe to transmit your credit card information over the internet.
If you get an error message when you try to place an order, it may be because there is a firewall between you and the Internet that is not configured to allow secure transaction to pass. Ask your system administrator if port 443 is open for secrue HTTP, if not ask him/her to configure it.
To use the secure server, your browser must support SSL (Secure Socket Layer). If your browser does not support SSL, you cannot use the secure server.
