ENDURO™ 10.10 AND 96 Horizontal Gel Box

The ENDURO 10.10 and the ENDURO 96 are ideal for routine horizontal gel electrophoresis with medium numbers of samples over short to medium gel run lengths. Both use the same 12.5 x 22 x 9cm base unit and have a 300mL maximum buffer volume. Two different types of comb blocks are available for both: 8-wells with one DNA marker lane or 8-wells with 2 DNA marker lanes. The offset layout of the wells allows a maximum run length of 1.8 cm per well, resulting in improved separation.

While a maximum of 100 samples per gel can be resolved in either the 10 x 10cm ENDURO 10.10 or 10 x 12cm ENDURO 96 unit, the ENDURO 96's format is designed to correspond to the standard PCR microplate or thermal cycler block configuration - samples can be loaded directly using 8-channel multichannel pipettes. Loading guides allow easy well identification and sample loading. For those who already own ENDURO 10.10 horizontal gel boxes, comb sets are available to upgrade to an ENDURO 96.

As with the entire ENDURO family of gel boxes, leak-proof casting is simplified using the supplied casting dams while their ultra-compact size minimizes buffer usage and bench space requirements. If you are considering upgrading from the smaller ENDURO 7.7 or 7.10 models, please note that extending only the width of the 10.10 and 96 allows more samples to be resolved per gel without a significant increase in buffer or gel volumes.
