Corning® Preassembled Closed Systems Solution Centrifuge Tubes

Closed cell culture systems help reduce the risk of adventitious contamination during drug development and

your processes. Corning closed system solutions arrive sterile and ready to use. They decrease the risk of
contamination, reduce the time and expense of sourcing and assembly, and improve productivity.

   Corning® 50 mL clear polypropylene (PP) preassembled closed systems self-standing centrifuge tubes come
with the advanced polyethylene CentriStar™ caps. The CentriStar™ cap has an easy-on/easy-off flat top and offers
advanced ergonomics with its wider knurls and roll-over edge design for easier gripping. This leak-proof design
comes with a revolutionary plug feature that virtually eliminated all seepage when used under recommended

• Black printed graduations and a large white marking spot.
• Maximum RCF is 3000xg.
•  Sterile, certified nonpyrogenic and DNase-/RNase-free

   Corning® 500 mL polypropylene (PP) Sterile Closed System centrifuge tubes arrive individually double bagged
and pre-assembled. The caps have two ports: one port ends in a 0.2 µm filter, and the other port is chemically
resistant, heat sealable flexible tubing, ending in a Male Luer.  Dip tubes, where available, reach all the way to
the bottom of the flask for easy aseptic transfer during your liquid handling process.

• Support cushions (Catalog No. 431124 for 500) must be used with this
  product unless the centrifuge rotor has appropriate V-bottom cushions.
